About the Role

You will play a vital role in translating complex real-world problems into well-defined mathematical objectives and constraints. Your expertise in optimization, forecasting, and causal inference, particularly in pricing applications or related fields, will drive our success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop optimization, machine learning, and statistical models to address complex pricing challenges.
  • Analyze large datasets to derive insights informing key algorithmic strategies for pricing.
  • Spearhead models and algorithms from conception to production, ensuring successful deployments.
  • Effectively communicate ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • PhD (strongly preferred) or MS in Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a relevant quantitative discipline.
  • 4+ years of industry experience as a Machine Learning scientist, research engineer, or equivalent role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for model development and statistical analysis.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and deploying machine learning algorithms related to optimization and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with large-scale datasets, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and relevant tools and libraries.
  • Proficiency with optimization libraries such as SciPy, CVXPY, or Gurobi.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • A proven track record of publications in machine learning or optimization conferences and journals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an anticipated base salary of $170,000 to $210,000 annually, along with access to a comprehensive total compensation package, including healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
