Bear Country Inc is in search of a Drone Show Technician and IT Specialist. We are an innovative company that provides unique drone performances tailored to our clients' needs. Join us in merging artistry with technology to deliver captivating aerial displays.

The Drone Show Technician will be tasked with preparing drones and necessary equipment, transporting them to performance venues, setting up and conducting pre-show tests, and executing drone shows that can feature anywhere from 50 to over 500 drones. A background in IT is beneficial, and opportunities for creative contributions in show design may arise.

This role offers flexible hours, with the potential for full-time engagement, though part-time options are also available. Travel to various show locations will be part of the job, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and transport drones and equipment, ensuring all setups for large-scale shows are executed flawlessly, including testing to guarantee operational readiness.
• Perform basic IT tasks and maintain computer systems as needed.
• Utilize a creative approach to integrate vector graphics with music for the performances.
• Work with Verge Aero Design Studio software; prior experience with this tool is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with other design software is essential.
• Manage projects while accommodating client specifications and preferences.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in piloting drones; obtaining a drone pilot license is recommended.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or relevant coursework in computer science, engineering, or information technology is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possession of a drone pilot license or willingness to obtain one.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Experience in creatively working with vector graphics.
• Ability to manage projects with minimal oversight.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to comprehend client needs and ask relevant questions for clarity.

Educational Background:

• Experience in computer design or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.
