We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Magnet Medical in Providence, Rhode Island.

About the Job

Magnet Medical offers a competitive pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week. The tax-free stipend amount will be determined later. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating patients to assess their physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
  • Implementing various physical therapy interventions, including strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
  • Educating patients about proper posture, movement techniques, and body mechanics to prevent future injury.
  • Providing guidance and support to patients performing exercises both in the clinic and at home to ensure they are doing them correctly.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
  • Regularly assessing patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
