Day Shifts: 8:30 AM - 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Role Summary:
As a Youth Support Specialist, you will attend to the physical and emotional requirements of the youth assigned to your care, ensuring a positive communal living experience. You will engage in a collaborative treatment team focused on the well-being of clients. This role serves as an excellent entry point for those seeking experience in mental health and social services.
Key Responsibilities:
Address the physical and emotional needs of clients, which includes:
- Providing nutritious meals and snacks
- Assisting with personal hygiene and care
- Monitoring and administering medication
- Intervening effectively during crisis situations
Promote a healthy communal living environment, which involves:
- Creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere
- Managing interpersonal conflicts
- Upholding house regulations
Contribute to a multidisciplinary treatment team for client care, which entails:
- Participating in treatment team discussions
- Offering insights for treatment strategies
- Executing established treatment plans
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong focus on customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email applications
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check is required
