Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to bone marrow transplant patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying potential risks and complications, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and lab results.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:

  • Hold a current RN license in the State of Colorado or a multistate license.
  • Have a minimum of one year of experience in acute care nursing, preferably in oncology or hematology.
  • Be able to obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Have a strong understanding of chemotherapy and biotherapy principles and practices.
  • possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
