Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, Colorado.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to bone marrow transplant patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying potential risks and complications, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and lab results.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:
- Hold a current RN license in the State of Colorado or a multistate license.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in acute care nursing, preferably in oncology or hematology.
- Be able to obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Have a strong understanding of chemotherapy and biotherapy principles and practices.
- possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
