We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a County Caseworker 2. This is a professional social services position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Job Summary
The County Caseworker 2 will be responsible for providing a range of social services to individuals and families in need, including assessment, planning, and implementation of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social services principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide social services to individuals and families in need, including assessment, planning, and implementation of services.
- Develop and implement service plans that meet the needs of clients.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services to clients.
- Provide education and support to clients on social services policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in social services.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1 or successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program.
- Bachelor's degree with a social welfare major or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and community partners.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
