Key Qualifications for the Golang Developer:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Golang, focusing on application design and performance.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services is preferred.
  • Willingness to work with other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
  • Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases for optimal data management.

Core Responsibilities of the Golang Developer:

  • Development of NQL and GQL Services: Write Golang code to improve real-time (NQL) and non-real-time (GQL) data services, ensuring effective data collection and retrieval under guidance.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Contribute to the USM KEY service's development and maintenance, emphasizing secure authentication, private key management, and encryption protocols.
  • Collaborative Development: Engage in teamwork with engineering departments, ensuring clear communication and coordination, including regular code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Defect Management: Assist in identifying, reproducing, and documenting software defects, particularly within the Genome project, supporting comprehensive testing and documentation efforts.
  • Performance Optimization: Help enhance software performance by identifying improvement areas and implementing necessary upgrades to meet project goals.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Aid in applying quality assurance practices, including software inspection, testing, and evaluation, to ensure accuracy and reliability according to project standards.
  • Technical Engagement: Actively engage with the technical components of the Genome project, including Golang, NQL, GQL, and USM KEY.
