Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join one of our trusted school districts in Cartersville, GA. As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to provide psychological services and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement behavioral interventions
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students and their families
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
