We are currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant. Weekend availability is a plus.

Role Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant is a qualified professional who delivers direct care services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer physical therapy interventions to residents in accordance with the treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
  • Support the Physical Therapist during assessments, evaluations, and advanced treatment procedures.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate to the therapist any changes in residents' conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned tasks.
  • Keep accurate daily records of treatments and document progress notes on residents as instructed by the therapist.
  • Assist with the screening process for new admissions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Possess a current license or be eligible for licensure in accordance with state regulations.
  • Preferred experience in a facility serving a similar demographic of residents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including legible handwriting, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute the directives of the Physical Therapist and adhere to the facility's policies and procedures.
