Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team as a Field Diesel Mechanic. As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision. You will work independently, using your skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed, including paperwork and electronic documentation.
- Upsell and demonstrate complex equipment to customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of customer-owned equipment, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
- Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
