About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and fashion-forward Personal Stylist to join our team at Anthropologie. As a Personal Stylist, you will be responsible for cultivating a exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and developing authentic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Contribute to a service culture that demonstrates extraordinary service to all customers, making them feel welcome, heard, and valued.
    • Lead by example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers, educating the store team and customers on the benefits of the personal styling role and program.
    • Generate impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive key metrics.
    • Advocate for technology usage and encourage the team to transact in the moment, upsell, and clientele.
  • Teamwork and Mentorship
    • Contribute to an inclusive environment by helping to amplify all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectives.
    • Identify personal styling knowledge gaps amongst the team and take action accordingly; facilitate regional and brand styling initiatives or trainings.
    • Utilize brand resources to share relevant apparel styling and product knowledge with the team to elevate associate confidence in servicing and outfitting the customer.
  • Visual and Business Operations
    • Review store business to understand buying trends, influence apparel outfitting and selling decisions, and drive apparel and accessories department business.
    • Capitalize on walk-in traffic and identify business-driving opportunities through outreach and networking; act on opportunities in partnership with store leadership to drive incremental sales for the store and achieve company and outreach goals.
    • Partner with the visual team to support mannequin outfitting updates to showcase new arrivals and best sellers.
    • Uphold accountability and productivity for zoned personal styling hours; contribute to a customer-first philosophy and be flexible in supporting service in zone coverage.
  • Communication and Relationships
    • Communicate customer insights and shopping patterns to the leadership team and styling team through regional or brand communication platforms.
    • Cultivate productive relationships with leadership and selling team that contributes to a collaborative, customer-centric environment; maintain open communication to identify and act on business needs in the moment.
    • Contribute to positive team morale through brand and store initiatives such as the SPARKED Journal, employee recognition, and team building activities.
    • Collaborate with store leadership in identifying and curating events and experiences that are reflective of the interests of the local customer and surrounding community to drive brand engagement.

    • 2+ years of experience building customer relationships or clienteling
    • Passion for apparel styling
    • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
