Supervisory Therapist

The Supervisory Recreation Therapist is responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation programs at the Veterans Health Administration. This position requires a strong background in recreation therapy and the ability to manage a team of therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for veterans
- Supervise a team of recreation therapists
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the rehabilitation department
- Master's degree in recreation therapy or a related field
- Current certification as a recreation therapist
- At least 5 years of experience in recreation therapy
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This position requires working in a healthcare setting and may involve exposure to infectious diseases. The Supervisory Recreation Therapist must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
