Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/PA to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our Neonatology Administration department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to infants and their families in Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Newborn Nursery, Pediatrics, and other hospital areas as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care under approved protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Teach and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in high-risk neonatal care.
  • RN license currently licensed in NC, approved to practice as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in NC, or currently licensed by NC Board of Medical Examiners as a Physician Assistant.
  • Certified by NCC or NCCPA.
