Construction Inspector

Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. is a leading civil engineering firm seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

• Conduct daily inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Document all on-site observations, including construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials.
• Measure and record quantities for payment.
• Prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as the on-site project representative.

• At least one or more of the following certifications are preferred: ACI, NJSAT, TCC, or CCTC.
• NICET Certification: II-IV is preferred.
• EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required).
• Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License.
