Job Title: Electrical Panel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Technician to join our team at Stage 3 Separation. The successful candidate will assist in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of electrical panels and components.

Responsibilities:

  • Wire basic electrical panels under supervision.
  • Mount components and panel wiring, including labeling per schematic with supervision.
  • Drilling, tapping, and cutting holes in metal enclosures.
  • Operate various hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, soldering guns, crimpers, etc.
  • Independently point-to-point test circuits according to schematics with supervision.
  • Perform QA/QC checks prior to "Green-Tag" and properly record test results.
  • Assist in facility projects, including moving items, packing boxes, cleaning, trash removal, and assisting other shop team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of AC and DC voltages.
  • Basic use of Digital Multi-Meter (DMM).
  • Ability to utilize measuring devices, including tape measure, caliper, thread gauge, etc.
  • Must be mechanically inclined/adept and familiar with hand tools.
  • Ability to identify thread size and specification of an unknown fastener.
  • Understanding of proper fastener installation and torquing.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to read and write in English fluently (Spanish is a plus).
  • Must have manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum based on experience.
