Position Overview

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
Job Specifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years required; first-time travelers are welcome if experience criteria are met.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to float to Postpartum and Nursery departments.
Core Responsibilities
  • Circulate and triage patients effectively.
  • Provide care in Labor and Delivery, including antepartum services.
  • Administer newborn care and perform essential procedures such as heel sticks and blood transfusions.
  • Educate families on discharge instructions and car seat safety.
Schedule Details
  • Shift: Variable shifts, typically 3x12 hours.
  • Floating: Required to float to Postpartum and Nursery.
  • On-Call: One call every six weeks.
  • Weekend Work: Required, approximately 5 to 6 weekends within a six-week period.
Additional Information

All requests for time off must be submitted with the initial application. Ensure that all anticipated time off is included for the entire contract duration.

COVID Vaccination: Required for all candidates.
