Job Title: Center Supervisor - Arroyo Grande

Transitions Mental Health Association is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Center Supervisor to join our team at the Arroyo Grande Wellness Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to our team of mental health professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, and promoting a culture of recovery and wellness.

Job Summary:

The Center Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Arroyo Grande Wellness Center, including staff supervision, program development, and community outreach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and support a team of mental health professionals, including peer support specialists, social rehabilitation coordinators, and program managers.
  2. Develop and implement programs and services that promote recovery, wellness, and social rehabilitation for adults with mental illness.
  3. Collaborate with community partners to develop and maintain relationships that support the mission and goals of Transitions Mental Health Association.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to mental health services, safety, and program site maintenance.
  5. Develop and maintain accurate program paperwork, including time sheets, petty cash, attendance forms, receipts, inventory, and units of service forms.
  6. Recruit, supervise, and train volunteers and interns, as well as coordinate with Cal Poly, Cuesta, and other agencies to provide interns, volunteers, and coordinators.
  7. Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and community partners, providing positive and constructive feedback, and remaining approachable and open to staff concerns and questions.
  8. Complete required hours of in-service training and attend all required meetings, monitoring staff completion of the same, and promoting additional training to meet specific program needs.
  9. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Manager.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health services, including supervision and program development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of professionals.
  • Knowledge of mental health services, including recovery-oriented practices, trauma-informed care, and social rehabilitation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
