Our organization is expanding its team and client base across various locations, focusing on delivering exceptional mental health care to individuals of all ages, including adults, adolescents, and children aged 5 and older.
We prioritize building trust and rapport with our clients, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate and respectful care tailored to their unique needs.
Qualifications:Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or up to 5 years as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in another specialty is required.
An active Florida nursing license is necessary or in the process of being obtained.
Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate the psychological and emotional well-being of patients/clients and prescribe appropriate medications.
- Utilize various assessment methods, including interviews with patients and their families, to gather comprehensive information.
- Monitor medication effects and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each patient, addressing emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders.
- Be available for on-call emergencies and urgent situations approximately every 5-6 months, depending on staffing capabilities.
- Conduct both in-person and telehealth consultations with scheduled clients.
- Stay current with professional knowledge through reading, attending conferences, and maintaining professional networks.
- Participate in administrative meetings as required.
