Job Summary:

The Busser is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by resetting and clearing tables in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reset and clear tables in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs
  • Assist servers and bartenders with table service, including serving beverages and bread
  • Support food runners, hosts, servers, bartenders, and expeditors as needed
  • Communicate with server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Keep designated service stations clean and well-stocked
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environment preferred
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members
  • Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Busser must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.

The Busser must also be able to work in an environment with varying temperatures and stand for long periods of time.
