Primary Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly analyze project requirements and scope by reviewing documentation, construction plans, and engaging with clients.
  • Compile essential documents including blueprints, specifications, and project details.
  • Identify critical cost factors and perform research to estimate labor and material expenses.
  • Solicit bids and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and present detailed estimates to project management.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in estimation roles is preferred.
  • Capability to project construction costs and familiarity with estimation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical competencies.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (BlueBeam, Adobe, BuildingConnect, ProCore, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional skills in research, writing, and negotiation.
