About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of cybersecurity and ensure the security and integrity of their information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber risks, develop mitigation plans, and provide guidance on security controls.
  • Review technical, environmental, and personnel details to assess the entire threat landscape and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, evaluate assessment documentation, and provide written recommendations for authorization.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, and evaluate assessment documentation and provide written recommendations for authorization.
  • Implement and validate security controls in an enterprise environment, compliant with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) on DoD systems.
  • Lead, communicate, and coordinate with multiple government groups, contractor partners, and program office representatives in the resolution of issues.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity requirements and policies, and RMF or AF FastTrack processes.
  • Experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), or Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Experience performing ISSE duties outlined in DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of SCAP and STIG implementation.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • DoD 8140 Certification, including CISM or CISSP Certification.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience developing automation scripts for work.
  • Experience with SIEM tools.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing Environments, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD).
