Cybersecurity Lead Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Cybersecurity Lead to join our cutting-edge team dedicated to maintaining the Army's capability advantage in cyber technology. As a Cybersecurity Lead, you will define and manage the security architecture for a diverse Cyber Operational Environment, working with the latest advancements in cybersecurity and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage the security architecture for a diverse Cyber Operational Environment
  • Develop and implement solutions that ensure the security and efficiency of the Army's digital infrastructure
  • Assess security artifacts and POAM items, determining mitigation plans and creating follow-on documentation
  • Perform vulnerability management, interpreting CIS Benchmarks, STIG application, and POAM resolution
  • Develop and manage ATO packages, authorization actions concerning software development and testing

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity with government programs
  • Experience interfacing successfully with internal and external customers, including ISSMs, SCAs, or Program Managers
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD Manual 8570 IAT II or III Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+, or CeH Certifications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience providing network, system administration, or computer operations support
  • Experience maintaining records and artifacts within eMASS or similar cyber risk management systems
  • Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithms or technologies, keying materials, PKI certificates, and security life cycle management
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization security architecture
  • Master's degree
  • ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
