Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for Fund Operations to enhance our Fund Administration division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Client Delivery teams effectively.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 1-2 Associate Fund Accountants or Fund Accountants, fostering their professional growth.
- Enhance your accounting, finance, and analytical skills through hands-on experience.
- Prepare and review comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for investors, consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring accuracy in financial information, performance returns, and operational analysis.
- Calculate and analyze various performance returns to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
- Coordinate cash distributions on behalf of clients with precision.
- Review and interpret accounting records and financial statements to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
- Sign off as a reviewer on SOC1 checklists and assist with external audit requests.
- Ensure adherence to internal audit procedures and requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership by leading projects and contributing valuable insights.
- Review documents in accordance with client agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Preferred experience in Credit Accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of investments within assigned funds.
- Ability to manage a small team with potential for future growth.
- Proficient in handling multiple projects and navigating unexpected challenges to achieve effective solutions.
