In Summary:

CNC Technicians are tasked with setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim stone according to work order specifications. They ensure the accuracy of finished materials using measuring tools. Additional responsibilities may include loading saws, monitoring operations, and replacing worn or damaged blades. Operators also maintain production records and assist with the upkeep and repair of saw equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in mandatory stretching exercise program
  • Receive instructions and work orders from supervisor
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in optimal working condition
  • Conduct daily maintenance inspections of equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all safety regulations
  • Document materials used to assist in inventory management
  • Report labor and machine time for operations
  • Assist in CAD drafting for cuts (CNC programming)
  • Utilize measuring devices to guarantee proper sizes and quality of finished products
  • Optimize raw materials to meet customer specifications
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring tools
  • Inspect raw materials for defects, documenting non-conforming pieces according to quality standards
  • Perform finishing processes as required
  • Send completed products for packaging
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and problem-solving
  • Technical skills relevant to daily responsibilities, including physical and digital tasks
  • Product knowledge
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • CNC training and experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English
