Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Toyota and other brands of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts, stackers, electric tow trucks, and transporters.
- Utilize grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and standard hand and power tools safely.
- Stay informed about all products that Atlas sells and services.
- Maintain your technician tools in good condition.
- Complete all service repair tasks efficiently.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment.
- Carry out other assigned duties as needed.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical repair skills.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive settings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and measuring devices.
- A willingness to learn and receive training.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage time and attendance; we seek self-motivated individuals who can work independently.
- Customer service orientation.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position involves standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 80 lbs., with routine lifting of 20-50 lbs.
