The Role

The Workplace Experience Host is a vital member of our Workplace Experience (WE) team, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients, colleagues, and visitors. This role will be based in our Chicago office and requires an in-office presence Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Support
    • Welcome and register all personnel and external visitors
    • Coordinate with building security and administration
    • Answer all calls and inquiries at the front desk
    • Maintain inventory of emergency kits and report any unsafe conditions
  • Daily Workflow Support
    • Anticipate internal and external guest needs by understanding in-office services and work areas
    • Build and maintain guest profiles to tailor support
    • Execute processes and strategies for in-person client support using our Workplace Experience technology tools
  • Conference Center/Meeting Support
    • Coordinate internal and external office events
    • Spot clean and tidy amenity spaces, pantries, cafes, and other areas
    • Execute the food and beverage experience, including menu planning and setup
    • Coordinate inventory, purchasing, and maintenance of catering equipment and supplies
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
    • Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information
Requirements
  • Possess the ability to foster a sense of belonging and community
  • Display effective communication and adaptability skills
  • Possess high emotional intelligence and respond appropriately
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years of hospitality or customer service management experience
