JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview:
The Lead User Acceptance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the delivered software meets the business requirements and quality standards. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate effective testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the assessment and management of project scope through Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Design Documents (FDDs) in partnership with UAT Leads.
  • Engage with State Agency Leads, Program Managers, and designated UAT representatives to comprehend business requirements and processes, acting as a liaison between State Agencies and Vendors as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with project and development teams to grasp the project roadmap, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria; meticulously review requirements to formulate UAT test preparation schedules, relevant test plans, and test cases to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop the execution calendar and manage account/environment requests.
  • Consolidate and evaluate all testing scripts and scenarios to ensure alignment with project scope and business processes.
  • Execute SQL queries as needed to collect and validate data in support of UAT testing.
  • Oversee and manage test scripts and defects utilizing JIRA and JAMA, including logging tickets and conducting testing.
  • Facilitate the defect identification and logging process.
  • Review issues raised by analysts and collaborate with both technical and business-oriented team members to resolve defects, ensuring that the Quality Assurance efforts are on track and meet expectations.
  • Participate in all UAT-related meetings, providing status updates and reporting testing metrics to the UAT Manager.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in UAT, including planning, preparation, and execution of test cases.
  • Prior experience in testing Health and Human Services systems, with knowledge of programs such as SNAP, RIW, CCAP, LTSS, and Medicaid, along with familiarity with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, testing strategies, and project management methodologies.
  • Proficient in SQL queries and capable of querying databases as required to support program testing.
  • Preferred experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
  • Experience with Selenium for developing and executing automated tests and supporting various software releases is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases.
  • Experience in developing schedules based on testing timelines.
  • Prior experience in testing interfaces and third-party vendors.
  • Ability to ensure quality assurance of deliverables prior to submission.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
