Overview

The MRI Staff Technologist plays a critical role in our diagnostic imaging team, operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies. This role requires a strong understanding of imaging techniques and the ability to operate complex equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Selects and operates appropriate imaging techniques to obtain high-quality images.
  • Monitors patient data and transfers images from disk to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Secondary and post-secondary education in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification in Radiography (ARRT) and MRI (ARRT) registry eligibility or certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License required.
