Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in various medical units, utilizing fixed and portable imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in their care. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining the quality control of imaging equipment and radiation safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Conducts patient care assessments and provides necessary care to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Maintains the quality control of imaging equipment and ensures radiation safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
• Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) licensure is strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Current CA Fluoroscopy license is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Completion Certificate from a Radiological Technology Program is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Venipuncture certification is strongly preferred.
