Job Summary

Aurora Appliance LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appliance Diagnosis and Repair: Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, including managing maintenance and stock inventory of assigned service van.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete invoices, estimates, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required, while maintaining accurate records of all activities via computer system or designated process.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent, with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, as well as the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology, including remote dispatching through an onboard computer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Skills: High school graduate or equivalent, with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
