Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our extensive range of mechanical equipment, including large-scale commercial printing presses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and components to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot and repair large-scale commercial printing presses, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Follow best practices to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety, adhering to industry standards and company procedures.
  • Document and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacement and minimize downtime.
  • Abide by management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Follow document control procedures to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support and ensure seamless operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical degree or working towards a degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background with knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and experience working with printing, bindery, and mailing equipment.
  • Good organization and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and management.
  • Adaptability to working with a team or independently to meet the needs of the company and the team.
  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems is essential for this role.
  • Previous use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is a plus.
