Wanzek Construction is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our renewable energy projects from acquisition through pre-construction, execution, and close-out. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that established practices, procedures, and company goals are implemented in the key areas of safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the project team through all phases of the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and schedule.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project remains on track and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in solar or EPC construction, with a strong understanding of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Timberline, and Construction Software.
