Job Summary
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team in the Dietary Department. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver resident trays in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, delivery, and cleanup.
- Operate dish machines to clean resident trays and utensils.
- Participate in daily and weekly cleaning assignments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Follow Department of Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe food service environment.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Dietary Department's mission.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow instructions at a 10th grade level.
- Ability to lift and push/pull 50lbs or more daily.
