Exciting Opportunity for a Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at H&H Inc. in Annapolis, MD. As a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm, we offer a unique opportunity to work on intricate and innovative engineering solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural engineering for projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, including field inspections, inspection reports, and design calculations.
  • Develop detailed plans for new and rehabilitation bridge designs, and prepare contract specifications and construction cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with our team to manage the entire life cycle of a project, from study and planning to design and construction.
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Concentration (preferred).
  • Three-five years of experience in transportation projects for State Agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD, DE, DC, VA) preferred.
  • FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Certification.
  • Previous bridge, culvert, ancillary highway structures, and/or tunnel inspection experience.
  • Experience with current AASHTO design specifications, design procedures, bridge standards and details, and structural computer models.
  • Ability to develop CAD drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD.
  • Good project management, technical writing, and communication skills.
