Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician II to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including imaging and testing, to diagnose and treat diseases in humans.
  • Select and operate equipment, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, and assist in equipment calibration and radioisotope assay operation.
  • Transfer and position patients for examinations, providing immobilization and protection as required, and maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the department.
  • Assist physicians in performance of examinations, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross contamination, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Radiology Technology preferred.
  • Texas Medical Board-MRT license required.
  • Current BCLS certification required.
  • ARRT or NMCT required.
  • At least one year of full-time experience in clinical Nuclear Medicine imaging, including didactic experience preferred.
