Progressive Care Unit Nurse Position

At Travel Nurse Across America, we're seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our team for an exciting travel nurse opportunity in Farmington, NM.
About the JobThis is a great chance for experienced RNs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a PCU Travel Nurse, you'll work closely with patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but aren't unstable enough to need ICU care.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing basic bedside care and stabilizing critical cardiac patients
- Performing procedures such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs
- Administering and recording prescribed medication and reporting any adverse reactions
- Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients and interpreting electronic displays
You'll be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential. Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

RequirementsTo qualify for this position, you must have:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
