Job Description:

The Patient Care Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences and working collaboratively with our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and ensure accurate identification
  • Prepare patients for assessments, physical examinations, and procedures
  • Collect blood samples and perform EKGs as directed
  • Assist with patient transportation and meal preparation
  • Ensure equipment is functional and clean
  • Provide direct hygiene and comfort care to patients
  • Take vital signs and document patient information
  • Collect and document patient weights and intake/output
  • Provide a safe patient environment and respond to call lights promptly
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician certification
  • At least one year of PCT or CNA experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
