We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct medical assessments on Veterans, including Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in a computer portal, providing critical evidence for the VA to determine Veteran benefits.
- Review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day, with an average appointment duration of 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Au.D degree from an ASHA-accredited school.
- Current license as an Audiologist.
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
- Daily rate: $400-$550 per day, with higher rates available for candidates willing to travel throughout California.
- Malpractice insurance coverage provided by MRG Exams.
- Health insurance options available.
- ASHA Learning Pass membership, including access to continuing education units (CEUs).
