Overview:
We are seeking a Technician I - Maintenance to support our operations. This role is essential for maintaining production efficiency and ensuring quality standards through effective machinery and equipment management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and engineering specifications to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Fabricate necessary repair components using machine shop tools and equipment.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical circuits and equipment; perform repairs on electronic devices and replace defective parts.
- Apply knowledge of principles and methods for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
- Minimize downtime by communicating routine preventive maintenance needs to production staff.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment while working independently.
- Exercise sound judgment and initiative within established protocols.
- Perform required inspections of facilities and equipment as mandated by regulatory agencies.
- Assist in the formulation of new policies and procedures aimed at enhancing employee safety.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficient mechanical and electrical skill set.
- Experience in machinery installation and disassembly.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple competing demands effectively.
- Familiarity with Lean Daily Management principles is preferred.
Initial Expectations:
- Complete all necessary training requirements.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders relevant to this role.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operational systems and the significance of your contributions.
