Join Our Team
Cancer Specialists of North Florida is seeking a highly skilled Cancer Treatment Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Radiation Department, you will play a critical role in planning the course of radiation therapy for patients.

About the Role
This position requires the ability to chart radiation treatment plans, determine treatment dimensions, and promote the implementation of treatment plans for radiation therapy patients. Perform and participate in the simulation, dose computations, isodose plans, immobilization, and other aspects of treatment planning for patients receiving external beam radiation therapy and interstitial brachytherapy at the facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and supervising the activities of the simulator and treatment planning functions as carried out by radiation therapists
* Working closely with Radiation Oncologists and radiation physicists in planning the course of radiation therapy
* Performing radiation dose distribution, dosage calculations, and constructing treatment devices
* Assisting in localization procedures using CT or conventional radiographic techniques

Requirements
* Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy program and/or at least 5 years of experience in a Radiation Oncology Department
* Licensed Radiation Therapist or a certificate of completion from an accredited 1 – 2 year school of Medical Dosimetry
