Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians, including orientation of new staff and students.
- Evaluate patient needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions, collaborating with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards.
- Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary and communicating with physicians regarding patient progress.
- Conduct thorough assessments and timely quality improvement evaluations for adult and geriatric patients in need of rehabilitation services.
- Address patient pain management issues to facilitate optimal participation in rehabilitation activities.
- Develop and update individualized care plans for physical therapy.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
- Preferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
- Valid BLS/CPR certification.
