About the Role:

The Liro Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our legal department. As a member of our team, you will provide legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate, and draft contracts for various business functions, including construction subcontractor agreements, professional services, and supplier agreements.
  • Provide guidance on general corporate compliance, company policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct legal analysis of applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance that impact the company.
  • Provide responsive and effective legal support to our business units.
  • Collaborate with other legal team members and outside counsel to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-7 years of legal experience with a focus on commercial transactions, risk management, and compliance.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, transactional due diligence, and MBE/WBE contract compliance work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Superior research, interpretation, and analytical skills.
  • Leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
