About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Tempe School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping students with communication disorders to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose students with communication disorders, using standardized tests and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff, to help them better understand and address students' communication needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Arizona Department of Education Speech Language Pathologist certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • A valid Arizona driver's license.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week during the school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will work primarily in schools, but may also provide services in other settings as needed.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
