Salary Range:$82,710 - $108,860 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care to critically ill newborns. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will assess patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patients' progress. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing complex medical conditions, such as infections, birth defects, or life-threatening illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver standard medications and perform tests as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record infants' vital signs, track their feeding patterns, and document patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient discharge planning needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
Neonate Resuscitate NRP certification within 30 days of employment start date
PALS and STABLE certifications preferred
Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or current Multistate Compact License
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
1 year of nursing experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit preferred
