Job Title: AVTEC Instructor: Construction

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Instructor to join our team at AVTEC. As an AVTEC Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and training students in construction-related skills and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver instructional materials and courses in construction technology, building maintenance and construction, and vessel repair and maintenance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of construction-based apprentice programs.
• Provide instruction and guidance to students in a classroom and laboratory setting.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in construction technology.

Requirements:

• Four years of journey-level trade experience in the applicable field.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in the applicable field, and two years of journey-level trade experience in the applicable field, and two years of professional experience developing, coordinating, and presenting adult training or vocational education programs.
• An industry-recognized professional certification in the applicable field, and two years of journey-level trade experience in the applicable field, and two years of professional experience developing, coordinating, and presenting adult training or vocational education programs.
