The Norman Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, this role will play a crucial part in the success of our team.

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our commitment to workplace excellence and innovation in patient care has earned us recognition as a beacon of quality healthcare.

Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Job Summary

This position involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. As a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, you will participate in the orientation of new staff and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.

You will maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction, as well as a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 24 months of formal education in Radiologic Technology or a military program equivalent
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training, with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
