Your Responsibilities:You will engage in collaborative efforts to enhance our models and explore new research avenues, often achieving results in a matter of days. We seek skilled engineers who are eager to tackle complex and novel AI challenges. In this role, you will:
- Utilize and expand the Helm proprietary algorithmic toolkit for unsupervised learning and perception challenges at scale.
- Execute the development and maintenance of tools for deep learning experiments aimed at delivering new functionalities for clients or addressing critical edge cases within the system.
- Collaborate closely with software and autonomous vehicle engineers to implement algorithms on both internal and client vehicle platforms.
- A practical and optimistic mindset: while not every experiment yields success, the successful ones significantly outweigh the failures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet client project deadlines.
- Thoughtfulness, introspection, and attention to detail.
- Experience with neural networks, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python and a working knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
- A strong passion for unsupervised learning, computer vision, and the autonomous vehicle sector.
- A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field and/or over 5 years of experience in a related domain.
The compensation range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000 and $250,000. The actual base salary will vary based on location, qualifications, and relevant experience. Additional compensation may include equity or performance bonuses.
