Critical Care Nurse

ScionHealth - Kindred Cornerstone & Solara Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Westminster, California.
Job Summary:We are committed to providing quality-driven, patient-centered care in our community. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for critically ill patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide quality patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Serve as a patient advocate at all times, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Supervise the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including referrals to other disciplines as necessary.
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and resources for a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- Experience in ICU or critical care nursing, with a strong understanding of patient assessment and care planning.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient situations and develop effective solutions.
