Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or LPN
  • Assist with patient procedures, collect and transport patient specimens, and complete applicable forms
  • Maintain hospital and unit-specific competencies
  • Assist in emergency situations as directed by an RN/LPN
  • Ensure that prescribed measures related to hygiene, comfort, and rest are provided
  • Comply with Standard Precautions guidelines, Infection Control procedures, and safety standards to maintain and promote a clean and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • BLS required
  • Must meet one of the following requirements: three (3) years of direct patient care experience and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license through State of Georgia, or completion of EMT-basic certification
