LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a contract nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a local healthcare facility in Dayton, Ohio.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU setting, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- 2+ years of experience in the PCU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
